Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, at Eleganza Sposa we host brides on an appointment-only basis. We want each and every bride to have the most memorable Eleganza experience possible and in order to achieve this we need to be fully prepared for your visit.
Do you charge for appointments?
Like many luxury boutiques, we charge a deposit of £25 for all bridal appointments. If you can’t make your appointment, this will be fully refunded providing you cancel or reschedule within at least 48 hours’ notice. Your deposit will be refunded back into your account after your appointment or can be redeemed against any purchases in store.
What is a 'Love List'
The Eleganza 'Love List' is a feature on our website which allows our brides to collate the dresses and accessories they like and save them in one place.
Our stylists can then utilise these lists in preparation of first appointments in order to understand the styles and designs favoured by each bride.
When is the best time to book an appointment at Eleganza Sposa?
We recommend that you visit Eleganza when you have a vague idea of what you are looking for and are ready to purchase a gown. It is best that you look for your gown between twelve and nine months before your wedding, however you can speak to a member of our team about finding a gown in a limited timescale.
How long are appointments?
Each appointment lasts 90 minutes giving you plenty of time to browse and try on a wide variety of gowns. You will be assigned a stylist who will give you their undivided attention and really gain an understanding of your personal style and wedding needs. It is important for our brides to arrive punctually to maximise their time with our stylists. Although you will not be on a stopwatch, our busy schedule means that we cannot always afford the luxury of running over time..
Who should I bring to my appointment?
We like to keep appointments personal and memorable. Only bring people whose judgements you value and trust the most. We can host three guests at most; usually two is the perfect number.
Can I take photos of my dress during my appointment?
While we are more than happy for our brides to take pictures within the designated areas of our store, we have restrictions in place with regards to photography of gowns at the request of our designers. Please speak to your stylist if you wish to take pictures or FaceTime a loved one during your appointment.
I would rather talk to someone before I book?
Of course, we understand you might want a quick chat with someone in-store before booking your appointment. If so, we’d love to hear from you and we can personally help book you in. Just call the store on 0141 248 3200.
I’ve booked my appointment, what’s next?
The next step in your Eleganza journey is to fill out your Love List. All you need to do is browse the Eleganza website and click ‘Add’ on the dresses you love the most. This gives your stylist an idea of your personal style before your appointment has even begun and they will use it as a reference point during your appointment. You will not be restricted to trying on dresses on your Love List – we encourage you to keep an open mind and try on dresses that our stylists choose for you as well. This is simply the best way to get an idea of your taste so that your appointment time is utilised well.
