Chloey had tried on a whopping 39 dresses and hadn't even begun to narrow them down in her mind... that is, until she tried on her Martina Liana gown at Eleganza and knew instantly it was the one! Read more about her glamorous wedding...

How would you describe your Eleganza experience? Absolutely breath-taking, I was made to feel like the only person that mattered in the shop and the girls took everything into consideration. Every one of them was so nice and spoke to us all so easily. Eleganza is beautifully decorated which definitely helps make wedding dress shopping easier. I'm really hoping some of my friends get married soon so I can have an excuse to re-visit! I really couldn't recommend the store and its staff enough! Tell us all about your Martina Liana gown! My first reaction when I saw it hanging up was “it’s nice but it doesn't look like my favourite gown that I've seen”… Then I tried it on! The lace, embellished top was stunning and it looked super on my figure, especially my waistline! It had everything I wanted: it had lace and sparkle whilst still being youthful and it even had some volume at the bottomI think the stylist helping me instantly knew it would be the one as she proceeded to take me through to the front of the building where there was lots of daylight, stood me in front of the large mirror and gave me a veil and a bouquet. Then, I cried and laughed at the same time and announced that I’d found the one! My mum was in utter shock as I had tried on 39 dresses before and I didn't think I was even close to choosing as I loved every single one one I tried on! I know, how is that even possible!

There are certainly worse problems to have! Would you like to share your proposal story? I got engaged in Hong Kong at the Ritz Carlton - 102 floors up! We had just celebrated my now-brother-in-law’s wedding in Palm Cove, Australia, we then went on to travel a bit. We had a gorgeous authentic Chinese meal in a rather fancy restaurant. At the end of the meal, Shaun got off his chair and down on one knee as he asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes! I was so happy and after lots of pictures and champagne, FaceTimed our families with the news. Everyone was over the moon! How romantic! Now, tell us all about your wedding day... We were so relaxed on the day. We had so many comments that we were the happiest bride and groom anyone had ever seen! Nothing went wrong or was out of place, some things were even better than I imagined! The dance floor was full all night, for a wedding of 200 people it was packed! We really recommend our band – wow, they put on a show! Then we finished it off with a disco for the last hour. I had been awake since four in the morning as excitement had got the better of me, so I was extremely proud of myself for lasting all night on the dancefloor! Did you follow a certain theme for your big day? I had no particular theme or inspiration; I just knew what I liked. My bridesmaids were all wearing different shades, from blush to lavender to apricot, and they looked gorgeous! I had lovely big centrepieces and my table names were all Scottish gins. My invitations had my venue on the front with some sparkle and some tartan. I love the Scottish vibe but also like modern glitz so I just mixed it all together to create something totally different! What was your favourite part of wedding planning? Definitely the dress shopping for myself, my bridesmaids and my mum! It was a good excuse for a day out with the girls, ditch the car and have some prosecco! How are you and your husband celebrating married life? Two days after our wedding we travelled to the Moonpalace Grand in Cancun to chill out for a fortnight! It was bliss, although I have to say my waistline didn't like me after two weeks of all-you-can-eat-and-drink! We have booked another holiday to Dubai to celebrate more and have the most out of our wedding 'year' – although I might be pushing my husband’s limits! You’re only newlyweds once! Finally, do you have any advice for future Eleganza brides? Just do it! I really felt that the ladies at Eleganza actually cared about me rather than just being 'another bride'. Time was spent well rather than being shoved into dresses and getting them off within 5 minutes. That was really nice. The staff and their patience was absolutely second to none!
