How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
My experience at Eleganza Sposa was fabulous. No other bridal shop comes close! I tried on several dresses in a variety of different styles. When I decided that the Francesca dress was the one, my stylist let me prance around in it for ages until she completed my paperwork. Also to help me get my vision of my wedding day in my head she also gave me a bouquet and veil to try. It was magical. Tell us all about your Jesus Peiro dress! My dress was everything I pictured and more, it was a plain duchess satin gown with a collar, but it was backless which made it even more amazing. It was not the style I had in mind but when I tried it on, I knew this was the dress I could see myself getting married in.
What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme?
Due to the fact we would be married abroad in Greece and my husband owning a beach bar, we decided to make it a beach themed wedding and have powder blue colours and seashells everywhere with candles.
Tell us more about your Big Day!
We had arranged to have a kiosk outside the church for all our guest. This consisted of having tables with water, sangria and homemade lemonade to hand out to my guests along with pouches with rice and favours for all to collect when leaving the church.
My favourite part of my wedding was being surprised by a white horse and carriage! Before the ceremony I was driven around the church in the horse and carriage and upon approaching, the only face I was searching for was my future husband. When I saw his face as he first set eyes on me in my dress, his smile made me fall in love with him all over again.
What was the most memorable moment from your big day?
Walking down the aisle towards my future.Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
My favourite picture of us is when we are in the church and the priest is saying his prayers. Myself and my husband are looking at each other and smiling. This makes my heart melt every time I look at it because it reminds me of how much love he showed me this day and continues to.
Do you have any advice for future brides visiting Eleganza Sposa?
Go in with an open mind, don't have your head or heart set on one idea and don't be afraid to try things out your comfort zone as people will expect you to choose something that is so you - don't. Choose something that will blow people away in a way they have never seen you before. That is what your wedding day should be like!
