Eleganza Real Bride Hannah found her dream gown for her relaxed wedding day in a DIY-style venue at our Rosa Clara Designer Day! Read about her experience finding a stunning gown in a style she never expected...

How did you find out about Eleganza Sposa? I worked in Eleganza Sposa from 2012-2016 and could not imagine finding my wedding gown anywhere else. How would you describe your Eleganza Experience? The Eleganza Experience was outstanding from start to finish. I had two appointments and at the second I found my perfect dress which was in store for a designer day, which Lisa selected for me. I had changed my mind about the style I wanted, and ended up going for a gown very different to what I first imagined - but it was the perfect dress for me. It was lovely for me to experience being a bride-to-be at Eleganza, especially after spending many years working there. It made it extra special to catch up with their lovely and talented team. Lisa, Lidia and Anna helped perfect my full bridal look, including a beautiful veil and accessories. At the fittings stage their seamstress Miriam was incredible, and made sure my intricate dress fitted to perfection.

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment? My now-husband Daniel proposed to me on Brighton beach at sunset in August 2017. After 9 years together he was waiting on the right moment... I had my suspicions something might be about to happen as he needed constant reassurance that I was enjoying our holiday! It was such a special moment and the rest of the holiday was spent FaceTiming family and friends to share the happy news and dreaming of our big day. Tell us all about your Rosa Clara dress! I loved how I felt wearing my dress - it's like no feeling I've ever felt before - really confident, happy and for once not focusing on any parts of my body I don't love. The dress was halter neck which I love, with an illusion back and soft, flowing train. The full gown was intricately embellished, which twinkled in the light at night. My family and friends were complementing the gown throughout the wedding and Daniel loved it! I felt amazing all day – just wish I had an excuse to wear the gown again! What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette? We wanted a relaxed wedding day, with amazing food and music and beautiful surroundings. We went for a neutral colour palette of whites and greens. Tell us more about your Big Day! We had a truly wonderful wedding day, the day ran really smoothly and we both had the best time. The venue is very much DIY and we had to source all our suppliers and set up the venue the day before our wedding. All our lovely family and friends pulled together to help make our day perfect.   Photographer: The Georges Florist: The Country Garden Company Venue: Guardswell Farm Makeup: Kate Elliot-Muir Cake: The Little Cake Parlour Caterer: Bespoke Catering and Events Music: Sporran Again Props & Décor: The Little White Cow and Just Vintage Hire Kilts: MacGregor and MacDuff
