How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
My eleganza experience was everything that I wanted, the sales assistant (I think her name was Amy) was so accommodating. When I first arrived she had said the there had been a trunk show and if I wanted to have a look at the dresses as they hadn’t been picked up yet so I said yes, we found one I loved and she said let’s try this one on first since we have it out and then I’ll get your selected gowns from your wish list. Well as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one! It was love at first sight. She then said let’s try the ones you liked from your wish list and different styles to compare to make sure I was making the right choice, I tried others on but honestly nothing compared to the first one, I tried it on again and I just knew that was the dress I would get married in.
Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?
Back in 2012, paul and I went on our first trip to Paris, it was amazing, we had the best trip and it was so romantic, paul had a thought at a moment under the Eiffel Tower which was that he was going to bring me back to Paris and this would be where he would propose.
As the years followed I begged paul to go back to Paris but he wasn’t having any of it. Fast forward to November 2021, we were meant to go to Venice and the flights got cancelled and there just happened to be Paris flights available so we decided to go there!
On the first night at dinner, paul suggested there was no rush for us to get married and that we could wait a few more years before we got engaged. we were 9 years together so at this point so as you can imagine I wasn’t too pleased! Paul is very laidback, so I didn’t think I was getting a proposal anytime soon but a few more year just disappointed me. So after dinner we went a walk through the park under the Eiffel Tower but I was ready to go home, he then persuaded me to walk some more where he pulled me into a quiet part of the park with the tower lit above us and got down on one knee and said Elaine, I think it’s about time I asked you something, will you marry me? I couldn’t even see my eyes were filled with tears! Of course I said yes!
Tell us more about your Essense of Australia gown!
I loved everything about my dress, from the fit to the low back, I felt like a true Disney princess wearing my dress.
I done a dress reveal with my bridesmaid on my wedding day and let’s just say there was a lot of tears! It was so emotional and they all loved it. I also done a reveal with my dad and brother and they said I looked beautiful.
What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
We decided to get married in Italy as it’s such a beautiful country and we knew we wanted to get married outside. The Kilts were a sage green and the bridesmaids dresses were champagne, we then tied our flowers in with the key colours.
Tell us more about your Big Day!
We got married at Fattoria Di Corsignano, just outside Siena in Tuscany. The venue is on a vineyard so the scernary played a big part. We had the most amazing day, it’s so nice seeing your vision come to life. From our outdoor ceremony, to dining under the sparkly lights to dancing all night with our guests we had the time of our lives!

What was the most memorable moment?
Hearing our String Trio starting to play as I walked down the aisle with my dad, seeing Paul at the end of the aisle
Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
It’s too hard to pick one! I love the picture of my dad walking me down the aisle and of paul seeing me. I also love the picture of me and paul having a moment looking at the area sit up for dinner and just talking a moment to ourselves.
