How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
My whole experience with Eleganza Sposa was sensational from beginning to end. I started following Eleganza Sposa on Instagram after I got engaged and absolutely loved everything they posted, but being from London I didn’t think I’d be visiting. An opportunity came up where my Mum and Dad had planned a trip to Scotland so I decided to join them. I came up from London to have my first appointment and it exceeded all of my expectations. This was the first (and only!) dress boutique I had ever visited so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I made my love list and got to try on all the dresses I had picked out. The first dress I tried on was the one I said yes to! The second time I tried it on after 5-6 dresses, the song that I already chose to walk down the aisle to started playing. It was absolutely meant to be! I felt so special, excited, comfortable and confident in their hands. Returning back and having my first try on and collecting my dress was just as magical as the first appointment and I feel so blessed that I had a stress free, beautiful experience choosing my wedding dress

Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?
My proposal was pretty special. Chris, my now husband, proposed back in May 2021. He took me out for dinner at a fancy restaurant in London and asked to take a walk through Regents Park since it was still early. When we got to the gates, he asked if he could blindfold me because he had a surprise. He led me to the bandstand in the centre of the park and when I took off my blindfold, he was down on one knee with everyone cheering. It was decorated with roses, candles, dancers, the lot! Then, to top it off, all our family appeared out of nowhere and it was just such an emotional experience.
Tell us more about your Martina Liana Luxe gown!
I actually saw the dress on one of your Instagram posts and that’s when I knew I wanted to visit the boutique. I loved that it had an over skirt option too. I felt so beautiful in my dress and it was everything I could have wanted and more. When I tried it on for the first time, I compared every dress to it and I knew it wasn’t going to be topped. On my wedding day, I felt so confident that I made the right choice. My veil matched beautifully as it had similar details to the design of the dress. Funnily, it was only when I arrived at the church just before my mum walked me down the aisle that we realised we forgot my overskirt at home! But by then it was too late!

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
We wanted to keep to a clean, classic and timeless look so we opted for our groomsmen to be in tuxedos and our bridesmaids to wear champagne/ivory dresses to match us.
Tell us more about your Big Day!
We had a traditional Greek wedding with a modern twist. Our ceremony was traditional in our family’s Greek Orthodox Church and we were blessed by priests who know and love us - this made it extra special! Then, we held our reception at London Marriott Grosvenor Square and it was absolutely stunning. We included lots of traditional dances but ensured it still had a young, new-fashioned feel. Everyone is still talking about how much they enjoyed it!
What was the most memorable moment?
For me, the most memorable moment was when Chris first turned around to see me as I walked down the aisle. Nothing beats that grin he had on his face!
Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
Every single one of our pictures mean everything to me, but one of my most favourites has to be of us kissing under all the confetti when we exited the church! Gives me chills!
