How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
I loved my experience at Eleganza!
Everything just felt so magical and dreamlike from the moment I walked in!
The staff are so friendly and kind - it felt like they were helping pick a dress for their best friend not just a customer!
Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?
My husband proposed to me on our 8 year anniversary - I didn't suspect a thing, we went to take the dogs a walk and since it was a beautiful day he suggested we go to Stirling (my home town) and walk up Dumyat Hill... we got there and about 5 mins into the ascent, in his classic impatient style, he huffed, said he couldn't wait any longer and got down on one knee and propose - I was shocked but of course said yes!
From there we gradually planned the Wedding Day together, that was one of my favourite parts of the planning - we would have a Wednesday Night wedding meeting in our calendar and decide on a couple of things a week, it was so fun to pull together our styles and both be on the same page with what we dreamt off, a chilled non-traditional Wedding filled with family, friends and food (our main loves in life).
Our Honeymoon was a 2 week stay in a Disneyworld Resort, Orlando. We had previously been to Orlando before but this time was just so much more magical, we got time to reminisce on our Wedding Day and even received some of our photos while laying by the pool. As we left the day after the Wedding it felt like we were still in a bubble, it was crazy to imagine that after 10 years together, we were now married, we are now forever.
Tell us more about your All Who Wander gown!
I picked the Raine Gown with the Neive Jacket, I still cannot believe this was my dress and I got to wear something so incredibly stunning!!!
When I started looking for dresses I knew I wanted a statement sleeve but after trying on some I realised that a lot of sleeves felt too warm or restrictive after only 10 minutes wearing it... then I was scrolling on Instagram and came across a photo on Eleganza of the Raine gown with the Neive Jacket and fell in love, then when I found out the sleeves are completely separate I was online booking an appointment asap!
The moment I saw the dress being brought over to me, I know it was the one and the moment I stepped into it and saw all of the intricate details and how it hugged my body so perfectly I knew I wasn't looking any further.
I loved all the petals that were stitched to the dress and sleeves as well as the beautiful mocha underlay and the fine tulle that just swished so lightly when I walked and didn't feel to big which was my aim - I wanted a dress that made me feel like a whimsical forest fairy but that I could also dance to the Rock band at night in haha!

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
We wanted a venue that carried all of the character and that we could be inspired by, Kirknewton House Stables is a beautiful converted stable with natural stone walls and creaky wooden floors.
We wanted our decor natural and in keeping with its surroundings, so we selected eucalyptus for our aisle with hurricane vases and gold chiavari chairs.
For the alter we had a statement wooden hexagonal alter with a full wall fairy light cascading backdrop! It was absolutely stunning!
Our tables were a forest green table cloth with white napkins and cutlery, our centrepiece was a simple but grand gold candlabra, wrapped in eucalyptus, topped with thin green tapered candles.
My bridesmaids looked incredible in one shoulder floor length nude dresses with a thigh length split and we all had eucalyptus and white rose dried bouquets.
Tell us more about your Big Day!
I honestly loved our day so much and don't have a single regret!
I wasn't nervous at all on the wedding day, I had such a nice chilled morning getting ready with my mum and two best friends, along with Tyler doing our make up and my sister in law Abbie doing hair, I was just so excited! It all became so real when I put my dress on and realised I eventually get to wear it for an entire day!!
My dad and I got to the venue and walked through our dome we had attached on the building, into the double doors of the stables and were met by a flood of people standing and waiting as well as the instant smell of the scented candles we picked from a friend of ours, its a spa like scent that instantly made me feel at home as it is a scent we burn often... when I saw Callum my heart melted, he looked so handsome!
We were married in a Humanist Ceremony which was beautiful, and we went on to get our photos around the grounds and got to enjoy the amazing canapes prepared by our caterers.
Our meal was incredible, accompanied by speeches between each course from my dad, husband and his best man.
Our first dance was "Forever after all" by Luke Combs, we then had a rock/80's style band that were exactly what we wanted and everyone danced the night away!
At the end of the night we said goodbye to everyone and as I had been too busy enjoying myself dancing and chatting to everyone I hadn't had anything to drink so we decided just to drive home... this is where we discovered my dress was not only beautiful but was also light and comfortable enough to drive 35 mins home in haha!
What was the most memorable moment?
There was a point in the day that I stopped at the end of the room and looked at what we had created, a venue that reflected how special our day was, a room of our closest friends and family all mingling and having fun, my new husband proud as punch walking around looking so handsome in his kilt and me feeling like the luckiest girl in the world in an outfit I could only have dreamed off - I hope to never forget any of it
Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
My favourite photo from the day is us laughing after our first kiss at the alter, I think we just realised omg we just got married!
