Charlene glided down the cobbled streets of Lucignano in her dream lacy fishtail gown by Martina Liana. You know we love an Italian wedding! Read all about it below...

How did you find out about Eleganza Sposa? I live in Glasgow so I had seen and heard of the shop. How would you describe your Eleganza Experience? Amazing! You can just tell as soon as you walk through the doors that it’s going to be a good experience. The decor, ambience and treatment from staff aren’t comparable to anywhere else. Silly things like being offered a glass of fizz is something most places don’t even offer. Eleganza do it the way it should be done. Thank you so much! We hear you travelled about for your wedding – tell us about that! I was engaged in Berlin and married in Italy. We had a mini honeymoon in Malta, followed by a Caribbean cruise and trip to Orlando, Florida for our actual honeymoon four months later. If you get married, you need to make the most of it!

It sounds like an amazing experience! You looked beautiful on your big day. Tell us all about your Martina Liana dress. I always knew I wanted a lace, fishtail sort of dress and that’s what I ended up with! I couldn’t decide between two very similar dresses, both of which were from Eleganza, so I brought along my maid of honour who hadn't been to any other appointments so she could see me try them both on. She cried when she saw me in only one of the dresses, so that’s the one I chose, obviously! I loved my wedding dress. What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette? We got married in Italy, so we had to think about the heat when planning. We tried to choose lighter coloured fabrics - bridesmaids wore pale pink and the groom and best man wore pale blue, so everything was in pastel/neutral colours. We love an Italian wedding - tell us more about your big day! It was 46 degrees in Italy when we got married! Apparently this is unusual. No complaints though, as it meant we got gorgeous photos. Italy is so beautiful and the little cobbled streets of Lucignano made such great backdrops for our pictures. We hired a vintage Fiat 500, which my husband struggled to fit in due to him being almost 6ft 3! What was the most memorable moment? Walking down the aisle and seeing my husband crying - something he claimed he wouldn’t do! We’re so happy for you, Mrs. Chisholm! Finally, do you have any advice for future brides visiting Eleganza Sposa? Make the most of the experience and pause to take it all in as before you know it you’ll be married and it’ll all be a blur!
