How would you describe your Eleganza Experience?
My Eleganza experience was magical, after 9 shops I was feeling disheartened and the moment I walked into Eleganza I felt this excitement, it’s as if the staff are you best friends and are rooting for you every step of the way and they went above and beyond to help me make my bespoke Savin London dress.
Would you like to share with us your proposal moment, favourite part of planning your wedding or what you have planned for your honeymoon?
We got engaged in Las Vegas on a gondola at the Venetian during sunset however this was plan 2, plan 1 was a hot air balloon in Memphis but that was cancelled after we were 3 meters away from a live shooting in Beale street.
My favourite part about planning my wedding was all the little surprises we planned for our guests, cocktails, doughnuts, shots, glow sticks and a surprise sax player after the meal as it all came together perfectly on the day.
We are going to Dubai for 10 days on the palm in June as a mini-moon as I work offshore but plan to travel round Australia in January when I have 4 weeks off for our proper honeymoon as it’s summer at that time.

Tell us more about your Savin London gown!
My gown was exactly how I envisioned it in my head, I had always loved the Savin London collection as it’s a bit different with colour and flowers and I didn’t want a complete traditional dress, I tried on numerous Savin London dresses but I always wanted to change something about each one. The lovely stylist explained we could take the parts I wanted from each of the 3 dresses and make 1. We put all 3 dresses on and took photos and notes and my stylist contacted the designer and made my dream dress come true. I was a little nervous about seeing it for the first time a few months later but it absolutely outdid my expectations. It was perfect and my photographer By Rhea who has been doing weddings 10+ years said she had never seen anything like this before it truly was one of a kind. I always wanted something plain but not too plain, no lace and no train but I still wanted to stand out which sounds impossible but you made it possible. It worked in perfectly with my champagne and neutral tone wedding.
Tell us more about your Big Day!
Our big day was on the 17th May 2024 at Meldrum house. We had a celebrant ceremony, with a string quartet with a classic wisteria decoration. Everyone then chilled in the beautiful sunshine with their drinks, cocktails, doughnuts and canapés that we hired in. We then had our meal where a surprise sax player came in and stated the party and everyone danced with their glow sticks in the foyer.. the room was then changed round for night and we cut our Donald Duck cake, followed by our choreographed first dance and then went on to a proper Scottish ceilidh then a DJ and the dance floor was full.

Do you have a favourite picture from your wedding day? Why is this image so special to you?
My favourite picture is the one below where I’m being lifted, the sun is going down perfectly, me and my husband had sneaked a little moment away from the sax player rave that was going on inside and got some extra photos, it shows off our beautiful venue and it just represents how the day had went so far which is perfect, looking at that photo I feel like I’m on cloud 9.
