We got engaged at Hogmanay 2010/11 in Paris, such an amazing memory.
I frequently pass through town and always love to look at Eleganza Sposa's window display so I just had to make an appointment there.
My experience at Eleganza Sposa was excellent so much so that my bridesmaid is getting married next year and has also just bought her dress from there.
I was quite nervous about finding my perfect wedding dress as I did not want a fussy dress with lots of frills, flowers, bows etc! I explained my preferences to Margaret at bath st shop and she made me feel comfortable and reassured me from the first appointment until I collected my dress.
We got married at St Nicolas Bay resort in Crete, luckily we both wanted to get married abroad.
We had 44 guests, varying in age which reigned in the location of where we would go, our priority was being surrounded by our close friends and family to share our experience.
I had one bridesmaid, Tracy. Her partner and parents came out to Crete too which was fantastic.
We chose to have the ceremony early evening. The sun was shining during the ceremony and there was a slight breeze which kept us cool. As time went on the sun began to set and there was a wide ranging palette of colours in the sky. As the evening went on, the surroundings were decorated with charming fairy lights and candles.
I remember sitting and watching our guests relax, laugh and enjoy being part of our day. I felt so blessed to be joined by our loving friends and family.
I was delighted with my wedding dress on the day. It was a Suzanne Neville dress. I was drawn to this designer as I feel her designs really capture and celebrate female curves. It was luxurious silk with button detail at the back and a slight train.
I have already and will continue to recommend Eleganza Sposa to brides to be!
